Rodney Marsh to focus on strengthening Australian batting

Rodney Marsh was appointed the chairman of selectors for Australian cricket and will be replace John Inverarity and his priorities are to build a more strong batting line-up.
Marsh believes the country has the talent but young batsmen is what he wants. He also thinks the Australian team is in need of some young spinners. Inverarity’s contract with Cricket Australia (CA) ends in June. He was considered one of the main man behind the teams recent success.
In the bowling department, he wants to strengthen the side with some quality young spinners. He would be focusing on the basics and believes the solution to all problems can be solved if the basics are clear.
Marsh played 96 Tests with Australia and will he hoping he can bring his vast experience and help his team in maintaining the number Test spot. He believes maintaining the number one spot is harder than getting there.
