Australian pacer Ryan Harris said that the weather in South Africa has left him disappointed after the visitors were forced to abandon their practice game against the South African Invitational XI at Potchefstroom on Wednesday.

Harris said that the match could have been an ideal preparation for his side ahead of the first Test match at Centurion and now hopes that his side get enough of practice in the net sessions before taking on the Proteas.

Harris maintains that the lack of a warm-up game will not hurt Australia’s preparations since they already have had a lot of cricket under their belt and will look to put to use that experience against the Proteas.
