Former Indian captain and Sachin Tendulkar’s longest-standing batting partner Sourav Ganguly spoke extravagantly about former teammate and opening partner Tendulkar. Calling Tendulkar India’s ‘Bharat Ratna’, Ganguly said that he was happy to witness the last match played by the batting maestro on 16th November on Wankhede.
Tendulkar has been nominted to receive the Bharat Ratna – India’s highest civilian honour for bringing glory to the country with his excellent performances in the field of cricket.
He will become the first sportsperson in the country to receive the Bharat Ratna.
