Sachin Tendulkar was the guest of honour in Velammal schools, Chennai where he addressed a huge gathering of thousands of school kids, eager to catch a glimpse of the legend.
Sachin Tendulkar urged kids to be good people in and also reminisced about how his father told him to be a good human being before becoming a good cricketer as he reckons everything in life is temporary.
The Bharat Ratna awardee went on to add “There will be tough times in life but you should never give up. In tough times tough people last,” said Tendulkar, who along with his wife Anjali were welcomed by Velammal Educational Trust Chairman MV Muthuramalingam during the felicitation programme.
