In of the most weirdest dismissals in cricket, India cricketer Saurabh Tiwary was stumped, not because his foot was out of the crease, but his runner’s was. This incident during the final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup in 2008, when India were struggling and hopeful that Tiwary would get them out of trouble. Unfortunately, his runner Tanmay Srivastava was out of the crease, which was observed by the third umpire after it was referred to him by the on-field umpires.

India would however go on to win the finals, lead by a young and vibrant Virat Kohli. India managed just 159 in 45.4 overs and in reply South Africa were bowled out for 103 in just 25 overs in a rain-hit match. India won the match by 12 runs by Duckworth-Lewis (D/L) method. Saurabh was one among three batsman to score 20 or more runs for India in that innings.
