Former Australian spinner Shane Warne has praised skipper Michael Clarke‘s courage for standing up to a hostile spell of fast-bowling by Morne Morkel.

Morkel had Clarke in all sorts of trouble during the third Test match at Cape Town as he was repeatedly hit on the body by some lightning quick deliveries by Morkel, but soldiered on by handling the quickie with patience.

Warne also praised Australia’s opening batsman David Warner for his century which pulled his side out of the woods and maintained that he was the kind of batsman which put pressure on the opposition thanks to his aggressive brand of stroke play.

Warne concluded by saying that the Test match is still in balance and it will be a battle between the Australian batting and the strong South African bowling.
