New South Wales‘ (NSW) skipper Steven Smith speaks to CA TV after his side clinched the Sheffield Shield 2013-14 by beating Western Australia (WA) in the final.


Smith who cracked an unbeaten 103 in the NSW second innings and guided his side to 197 for 4 on the final day was thrilled at his side’s win and gave the entire team credit for the success.


Smith said that he was happy at the way his summer has panned out and was content with the way things were going for him at the moment.


Smith reserved praise for Moises Henriques in particular who smashed an impressive 140 in the NSW first innings and added that it laid the foundation for the side’s win.


Smith signed off by saying that it was nice to finish the total with a century and hoped that it will be the cornerstone for even greater things to come.
