Western Australia‘s (WA) Mitchell Marsh speaks about his team’s chances after Day three of the Sheffield Shield final against New South Wales (NSW) at Canberra.

Marsh was unbeaten on 92 after WA collapsed to 180 all out against NSW and conceded a huge 510-run lead thanks to Josh Hazlewood’s six-wicket haul.

Despite the disadvantage Marsh was optimistic of his side’s chances of salvaging the game and insisted that they would have to pick up a few early wickets in order to stall the NSW juggernaut.

Marsh also said that chasing down the huge target was not an impossible task at hand considering the flat nature of the wicket and maintained that his side would have to bat flawlessly if they were to have any chance of winning the contest.
