Western Warriors captain Adam Voges remarked that he had an empty feeling after the final as his team had been thoroughly outplayed in the final against New South Wales. Voges said it was a bad toss to lose and credited Moises Henriques’s and Steven Smith for their superb knocks.

Voges credited his team for fight that they showed after spending long hours on the field after the NSW batsmen had put the Warriors bowlers to the sword. Voges remarked that he had no issues with New South Wales hosting the final as the best team in the competition deserves to do so but stated that Cricket Australia (CA) needs to think twice about it before next year’s final. Voges concluded by stating that he was happy with the team’s performance overall and reckons that Warriors will be a force in a few years to come.
