Sri Lanka off-spinner Rangana Herath expressed happiness over his six-wicket haul on the final day of the first Test that helped skittle Pakistan out for a mere 180 and setup a seven-wicket win for the hosts.
Herath tirelessly bowled over 30 overs to bag six wickets and give his team a clear chance of winning the Test. Pakistan batsmen too were to blame as they threw their wickets away when the Test was heading towards a draw.
Sri Lanka registered a close win against Pakistan at Galle as they achieved their second quickest run chase on Sunday in the first Test. Angelo Mathews and Kithuruwan Vithanage were unbeaten on 25 and 11, as Sri Lanka won the first of the two-Test match series.
