The star of the first day at Perth Steven Smith looked back on one of his best days of career. He said the century was the best of his career.
Smith admitted to have been under a bit of pressure to perform and clarified that there wasn’t as much chatter from the English fielders as there was in the first two tests. He also went on to talk about the adjustment in technique that he had to make while batting at hostile WACA pitch.
Smith also had a word about the English bowlers, whom he thought were “far too short” and stated that the Aussie bowlers would bowl a lot fuller in length than the English.
