AB de Villiers, South Africa‘s star batsman who is considered to be the most complete batsmen of the current era along with Virat Kohli, is adept at so many things that it makes one feel that he is modern day’s Leonardo Da Vinci. Having excelled at so many sports including cricket, he has a good hand when it comes to playing the guitar as well. In a video released on Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) official YouTube channel, we can see him playing the guitar and singing the song ‘When you say nothing at all’ along with his wife Danielle who sings with him. The song is one of the most cherished songs esp. among the youth. The song was recorded way back in 1988. It was written by Paul Overstreet and Don Schlitz. Before taking to cricket full time, de Villiers played a variety of other sports but found his calling with the gentleman’s sport. De Villiers is not just known for his exceptionally gifted batting skills but also his demeanour on and off the field. De Villiers, who is largely popular in India as well is currently playing for RCB in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016. De Villiers is in great form in IPL 9. Kohli, his teammate in RCB had called ABD the finest batter of the current generation, around a month back. Kohli had said, “AB is the best batsman of our generation. It’s a pleasure to bat alongside him. The way he communicates, he’s a selfless person. He doesn’t care about his own plans, but helps people around him. He’s a better human being than a batsman.”
