Australia will be hosting men’s and women’s ICC T20I World Cup 2020. This would be the first time Australia would be hosting a complete event. David Richardson, the chief executive of International Cricket Council (ICC) was seen explaining the growing fame of the shortest format of the game across the globe. Richardson talks about how women’s cricket is developing and attracting more fan base over the years. The venues decided for the event are Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Geelong, Hobart, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.

Richardson believes T20 cricket is the fastest growing sport in the world. The women’s World Cup 2020 will start from February 21 to March 8 followed by men’s World Cup held between October 24 to November 15.
