On Day Three of the second Test between Australia and Pakistan, hosts ended the day on a high riding on the back of opener, David Warner‘s 17th ton. Pakistan declared their innings on 443 for 8 but hosts came back stronger and are trailing by 165 runs with 8 wickets intact. Warner blasted 144 off 143 balls which included 17 fours and one maximum to lead Australia’s charge after Azhar Ali’s double ton. In this process, Warner also brought up his 17th Test century whereas this was his maiden ton at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The series is currently in Australia’s favour after they won the first Test by 39 runs.
