New Zealand’s paceman Tim Southee spoke in length about the home side’s win over Bangladesh in the first two matches of the three One-Day International series (ODI). Southee credited fellow Black Caps bowlers and batsmen for the wins at Nelson Park and Hagley Oval. New Zealand won the first ODI against Bangladesh by 77 runs and the second by 67 runs. New Zealand next play Bangladesh on New Year’s Eve in the third and final ODI at Nelson Park itself. Bangladesh and New Zealand will also clash in 3 T20Is and 2 Tests moving forward into the New Year. New Zealand’s next ODI assignment is against Australia in the three-match Chappell-Hadlee Trophy early February.
