Kumble is India’s most successful bowler with the highest tally of Tests wickets in Tests. He carries massive experience on his shoulders and his stint is expected to be a fruitful one. Sanjay Bangar has been named as the batting coach of the side along with Abhay Sharma, who will be serving as the fielding coach.

About the interview, Kumble opened up on his experience during the interview and was quoted by bcci.tv. saying, “Sachin was on teleconference, but of course there was Dada [Ganguly] and Laxman on the other side of the table, so it was nerve-racking but it was great to present a plan.”
