Zimbabwe stands in an awkward position in a chase of 439 runs against Bangladesh in the third Test played at Chittagong. Varun Arora looks at Zimbabwe’s highest fourth innings score against all oppositions.
It has been testing times for Zimbabwe cricket as they are left in an challenging position in the third Test match against Bangladesh. Bangladesh have won the first two Test matches quite comfortably and lead the Test series 2-0 so far. Zimbabwe who require 439 runs to win the final Test match at Chittagong are currently on the verge of defeat at 228 for six after the end of 66 overs. With still 49 overs to be bowled on the fifth day. It will be interesting to see if Zimbabwe can save this Test match. While, some players have shown great intent in the Test series but many of them have still failed to come up with the expectations.
Regis Chakabva has played a fighting innings so far and is unbeaten at 61 and is falling short of partners. Bangladesh still need four wickets more to win the match while Zimbabwe need to get 221 runs.
