British Airways gets trolled for asking Sachin Tendulkar's full name; Amul comes with a witty take
It was a huge nightmare for British Airways and their PR machinery, when Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar expressed his anger because of their don’t care attitude on Friday the 13th. It was a day when almost the whole Indian subcontinent became the enemy of British Airways after Tendulkar’s tweet. Also Read: What happened when British Airways asked Sachin Tendulkar his full name
No doubt that Tendulkar is the most famous cricketer around the world and when such personality gets angry and goes for a negative tweet, it is very dangerous to their brand. It is not the first time when Tendulkar has got angry of anything. Earlier, on April 27 this year, he showed his annoyed face with a tweet saying, “My daughter Sara is enjoying her academic pursuits. Annoyed at all the baseless speculation about her joining films.” Also Read: achin Tendulkar rubbishes rumours of his daughter Sara linking to Bollywood
British Airways looked pretty clueless, like what wrong they did after their controversial tweet which went viral and fans of Tendulkar on Twitter started trolling them for asking his full name. They might have known Tendulkar’s full name but it’s a system of verifying one’s full name while going through towards any enquiry.
In this race of trolling British Airways, Amul is also not much behind others as they too took a dig at the airline company with their new caricature, which reads, “British Errways?”, followed by, “A name everyone knows!”
