Kohli has scored 17 of his 24 Test hundreds as captain.

With one victory in England, Kohli became the second-most successful Indian Test captain of all time and now extended the tally for 23 victories winning the first Test against West Indies.

Taking over after Dhoni announced his retirement mid-way during the 2014 Australia tour, Kohli led India to a streak of victories at home that ended only three years later.
