Glenn Maxwell and Diego Godin

Glenn Maxwell (left) is an Australian all-rounder, who made his One-Day International (ODI) debut against Afghanistan at Sharjah in 2012 and Test debut against India in 2013. A right-handed batsman and an off-spinner, Maxwell has played three Tests and 49 ODIs and has scored 80 runs and 1367 runs respectively.

He is basically known for his power-hitting and unorthodox cricket shots. Maxwell plays for Melbourne Stars in Big Bash League (BBL) and Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is one of the most valued Twenty20 cricketers around the world. In the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, the Australian dasher scored his maiden ODI century against Sri Lanka at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). Later, he became a member of the World Cup winning side and is currently ranked ninth in the ICC ODI rankings.

Maxwell’s doppelganger on the right is Diego Godin, a Uruguayan player who plays for Atletico Madrid in the Spanish League. Godin started his career in Uruguay with Cerro and in 2007, signed for Villarreal. He played with the ‘Yellow Submarine’ for three years and in 2010, moved to Atletico Madrid.

Because of his hard-tackling and composure, he has established himself in the heart of Atletico’s defence and has enjoyed success in Spain. The centre-back made his national team debut against Mexico in 2005, appearing in two World Cups and two Copa America tournaments.
