Herschelle Gibbs and Vin Diesel

In the left, we see South African batsman Herschelle Gibbs. In his heydays, Gibbs was one of the most entertaining batsmen in the world. The South African has played 90 Tests, 248 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 23 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).

Having made his Test debut in Kolkata in 1996, Gibbs has gone on to amass 6197 runs, at an average 41.95. Gibbs will be best remembered for his knock of 175 that helped South Africa chase down the record total of 438 against Australia in an ODI in Johannesburg. Gibbs’ career was marred by several controversies; however that didn’t affect his brilliant show with the willow. In 2007 World Cup, he became the first cricketer to hit six sixes in an over in international cricket.

On the right is Gibbs’ lookalike, Vin Diesel, who is a famous American actor and filmmaker. Diesel made his Hollywood debut with a brief role in Awakenings (1990). He is most notably known for his roles in The Fast and the Furious franchise film series (2001 and present), XXX (2002) and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014).
