How to lose friends, the Vinod Kambli way

At his peak, Vinod Kambli was a treat to watch and during their school days, some felt that he was more talented than Sachin Tendulkar.

Kambli followed his friend, Tendulkar to the national team and had a good few years at the start. However, their career went quite the opposite way. Tendulkar went on to become one of the finest cricketers ever, while Kambli pressed the self destruction button.

Earlier this week, Kambli made some obnoxious remarks against Navjot Singh Sidhu and other presenters on Twitter . And a day later, he put the blame on his friend and said that he ‘fired him’ for the offensive tweet. Twitterati s trolled him big time for his latest indiscretion.

But the very thought of Kambli and the word ‘friend’, makes us wonder if he has any left. Over the years he has rubbed his well-wishers and friends, the wrong way and made it a habit to be in the news for all the wrong reasons.
