It was a walk in the park for the New Zealand batsmen in the second innings chasing a under-par score of 93. Guptill started the innings with a six and followed that up with two consecutive more boundaries. He was dismissed in the 4th ball of the first over. India got the wicket of Kane Williamson but it was just a mere consolation as Henry Nicholls and Ross Taylor did a professional job and finished off the game.

It was the ideal stage for Ambati Rayudu and Dinesh Karthik to cement their spot in the XI with a good knock here but that wasn’t to be. Both fell in the space of 5 balls with the latter bagging a duck. Kedhar also did not trouble the scorers a lot. Hardik did look to attack but he fell pray to a short delivery. The highest stand for India came for the 9th wicket between Kuldeep and Chahal but overall, the batting scorecard for India is a sorry one.

9: 44 am IST: Over 31 – Jimmy Neesham in to the attack and he wraps up the innings,c leaning up Khaleel Ahmed. India all out for 92.

Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of the fourth ODI between India and New Zealand from Seddon Park in Hamilton.

Even without captain Virat Kohli, India will aim to maintain their winning streak after already having taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series. While New Zealand will look to plug the holes that were exposed in the first three matches, India will want to test their bench strength in the remaining two matches which will be led by Rohit Sharma, with Kohli rested in keeping with the BCCI’s workload management programme ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019.

For Rohit, this will his 200th ODI and he will want to make it count with a solid performance. A 4-0 lead will be India’s biggest series win (across formats) in their 52 years of touring New Zealand having first visited the country back in 1967.
