Delhi Daredevils might just get the better of Kolkata Knight Riders in Match 2 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 on Sunday. Daredevils pose as the most unpredictable team of the tournament with Rahul Dravid as their mentor and Zaheer Khan as skipper. The fast bowler is been out of action for a while now and will be looking to make a comeback through IPL. They don t have big names under their belt but sure has players to get them through the game. They have a balanced mix of overseas and domestic players backing them. Gautam Gambhir s team has many Indian players looking to prove their mettle and give themselves a chance to book a berth in the international team. Both the teams failed to make an impact in last year s edition with Delhi ending their campaign at 7th spot and Kolkata failing to qualify for semi-finals by a small margin. The second match of this year edition will showcase a few banters. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Delhi Daredevils , 2nd T20 Match, IPL 2016

Gautam Gambhir vs Zaheer Khan: Gambhir is the second most successful captain in the history of IPL, winning it for two times. He will be desperate to get back into Indian team after opener Shikhar Dhawan s inconsistency in recent times. Zaheer has always performed against left handers with the new ball. He has been out of action for quite a while now. Since Gambhir has a good T20 record both in international and IPL circuit, he looks to have an edge over Zaheer in this banter.

Carlos Brathwaite vs Andre Russell: This contest is between the Champions of T20 World Cup. Both played their respective parts for West Indies. Carlos smashed four consecutive sixes in the final over against England in the grand finale to win the trophy. The final was played at Eden Gardens and Carlos will again be at the same venue for DD's opening IPL 9 match. Meanwhile, Russell took the game away from hosts India in semi-finals. Both all-rounders have a knack of winning matches for their teams with their all-round skills. These players hold the key to win the match for their respective franchisees. Quinton de Kock vs Morne Morkel: The wicketkeeper-batsman from South Africa has the responsibility of top-order on his shoulders. He looked in good touch during the T20 World Cup and is expected to continue the same momentum. On the other hand Morkel will be back in the action after being side-lined for a long time due to an injury. All he needs to do is find his rhythm. This battle is a sure thing and will be crucial for the success of team.

Imran Tahir vs Yusuf Pathan: Tahir was the sole bowler for South Africa who performed right through the World T20 2016 in India. His googly is hard to pick and has made life difficult for the batsmen many a times. Whereas Yusuf, once the backbone of Indian batting line-up hasn t been himself lately. He will be looking for a turnaround come this IPL. It will be interesting to watch the ball moving away from Yusuf at Kolkata s pitch and how he copes with it.

Mohammad Shami vs Robin Uthappa: Shami made a comeback in the Indian team but stayed in the dugout the whole the time in T20 World Cup. It will be a test to his fitness playing for Delhi Daredevils. Being an Indian seamer, his responsibility in the team increases both in the powerplay and death overs. Uthappa has been unlucky to not make it into Indian team even after performing consistently both in domestic circuit and in IPL. He is one of the leading run scorers and KKR s batting order will depend a lot on him. It will not be wrong to assume that KKR's fate will revolve around Uthappa's form in this edition of IPL.
