After being displaced from the perch by Mumbai Indians, the MS Dhoni-led defending champions reclaimed the top spot on Saturday.

They beat Kings XI Punjab at home for their fourth win of the season, bouncing back from their first defeat. Later on Saturday, Sunrisers Hyderabad were blown away by Mumbai Indians' Alzarri Joseph who on debut smashed records to take 6/13 the best figures in IPL history.

The defeat, SRH's second of the season meant they failed to climb up at the top, remaining behind CSK in the points table. MI continue to improve after a slow start as they climbed up two places to enter the top-four.

On the other hand, KXIP have slipped to fifth from third following their second defeat.

But Sunday could see more changes with a red-hot Kolkata Knight Riders travelling to Jaipur to face Rajasthan Royals. They are currently third with six points but can displace CSK provided they continue their winning march.

A win on Sunday will bring them on level terms with Chennai but on account of a better net-run rate, they will take the top spot.

RCB are still searching for their first points and they face Delhi Capitals who are sixth, just one place above Rajasthan.
