N.Srinivasan in a dilemma after Supreme Court verdict

On January 22nd 2015, the Supreme Court finally gave its long awaited verdict on N Srinivasan, Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra. The verdict didn’t prove Srinivasan’s charges for cover-up but did declare son-in-law Meiyappan and Rajasthan Royal’s co-owner Raj Kundra involvement in betting.

The court also barred N Srinivasan from contesting the Board of Cricket Control (BCCI) elections till the time he is having “commercial interest in cricket.”After the proceedings, Srinivasan finds himself in complete jeopardy.

Amul came out with its caricature which shows Srinivasan in dilemma after the court’s verdict with Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni on one side while future Indian skipper Virat Kohli on the other side. The picture says it all by making a troll of Srinivasan’s future interests ‘Board? Cement? Chennai? India?’ which means Board as BCCI President, Cement as India Cement’s President, Chennai as Chennai Super Kings owner and India as Indian national team.
