Revealed: Why Saeed Ajmal called Harbhajan Singh “chucker” and wants to return his awards!

It was a busy day for Indian soldiers at border last night as Pakistan once again breached ceasefire violations. However, this time the tendency of unnecessarily attacking Indians seems to have rubbed off on their cricketers as well.

If Pakistani journalist Zainab Abbas’ tweets are to be believed, the popular sports anchor interviewed the dropped Saeed Ajmal who expressed doubts over legality of the bowling action of Harbhajan Singh and Ravichandran Ashwin, and called them “chuckers.” Reportedly he has also gone onto say that ICC is biased towards Indian cricketers. Ajmal was reported for his action last year and hasn’t been effective with his new action and as result been dropped.

According to close sources, Saeed Ajmal has targeted Harbhajan because he is upset that the Indian off-spinner didn’t invite him to his star-studded wedding reception, which was a complete star-studded affair. Prior to this, Ajmal believed that the off-spinner’s club around the world enjoyed a good camaraderie. Prior to the interview he spoke to a friend who revealed the same to the writer.

“They don’t allow us to come and play in IPL and now they don’t even invite us for their reception. The intolerance against Pakistani bowlers under PM Modi’s rule is disturbing! I am also planning returning all my man of the series awards as a mark of protest!”

Arvind Kejriwal has come to Ajmal’s rescue and was last seen typing on Twitter: “We are ready to welcome all Paksitani artists to perform in India. We have already welcomed Ghulam Ali, now we want Saeed Ajmal to come and bowl for Delhi- gully cricket night tournament!”

It’s expected that Ishant Sharma, who will not be a part of the Mohali Test due to the one-match ban, will also play alongside Ajmal. Virender Sehwag has also been invited along with Suresh Raina but their confirmation is still awaited. Party or not, Ajmal will get to visit Delhi and hope this brings some relief to the Pakistani cricketer.
