On February 15, 2015, India’s win over Pakistan in the World Cup 2015 made headlines around the cricket world. A day later, it Yuvraj Singh, a man who made the cricketing headlines wasn’t even a part of the Indian World Cup contingent, was hogging the limelight. And why not! He was picked in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for a whopping Rs 16 crores by Delhi Daredevils (DD).

Months later, he didn’t justify the price tag as he managed only 248 runs at an average of just over 19 and his side, DD, finished seventh in IPL 2015. Despite the dismal numbers, he walked away with the fattest cheque. Yes, even fatter than the one Mumbai Indian’s received after winning the tournament on Sunday!
