Bollywood actor and BJP MP Shatrugan Sinha has come down hard on actor and former sportsman Yograj Singh for his unbridled hate against Indian captain MS Dhoni. The Shotgun said that even he wasnât as against the BJP as Yograj is against Dhoni.
âYaar, for some time at least, khamosh!â Sinha thundered. âWhatâs with you and Dhoni? See, I can understand hatred. I can understand the art of trolling, Iâm a PhD when to comes to doing that to my own party. Advaniji, Yashwant Sinha etc are passe. But this kind of kolaveri?! Never! Even I donât harbor such rage against my party. Whatâs with you, seriously?â the BJP leader asked Yograj at a press conference, adding that he sees Dhoni leading the country politically in a few yearsâ time. âAfter Amitabh Bachchan sahab, I would like to see Dhoni as president,â the Shotgun mentioned. Read: Yograj Singh now criticises MS Dhoni for under bowling Yuvraj Singh; once again trends on Twitter
Social media users, meanwhile, have begun to mock search engine giant Google, for failing to point to the location of Yograjâs residence when users search for âanti-Dhoniâ.
âAfter the whole Google maps episode wherein a search for ‘anti-national’ pointed to JNU, usersâ expectations have risen. Pointing to Yograj Singhâs residence mustâve been first result returned for a search like anti-Dhoni. Google maps leaves a lot to be desired. Enna ma, ippdi panrengale ma?!â (What, man?! Youâre doing like this, man?!) a Chennai user wrote to Google CEO Sundar Pichai.
Sinhaâs statement was soon echoed by former BCCI president N Srinivasan. âShotgun is right, pa. Sakshi used to tell me that I was the biggest Dhoni enthusiast one could ever find. Even more than her. But this Yograj thambiâs obsession with him outclasses even mine, by miles,â the India Cements chief said.
Yograj, however, found support from the quarters of swashbuckling Indian batting legend Virender Sehwag. âYograj ji is following my simple mantra. When on the field, see ball, hit ball. When off the field, see Dhoni, hit Dhoni,â the Nawab of Najafgarh chuckled.
