‘The CCI changed its rules to allow 14-year-old Sachin Tendulkar to enter its dressing room’

My team, the Cricket Club of India (CCI), was playing the Purshottam Shield quarter-final against Shivaji Park Youngsters in the late 1980s. Sachin Tendulkar, who was 14 years old then, was playing for the Shivaji Park Youngsters. That was the first time I watched him bat. He came in to bat at No 4 or so. My colleague, Hemant Kenkre, told me, "Just watch him."
