Christmas is one of those holidays filled with cheer, love and celebrations!

The cricketing world is all gung-ho when it comes to celebrating this popular festival. It’s Christmas Eve and the celebrations have already begun with cricketers taking time off their busy schedules and spending it with family and friends.

Social media is filled with updates and pictures about wishes, festive plans and decorations.

After Christmas, several cricketers will head on for the Boxing Day Tests that are followed with great interest. While India is set to battle it out against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), New Zealand go up against Sri Lanka at Christchurch and South Africa play West Indies at Port Elizabeth.

No doubt the minds will be filled with match anxieties but for now they look set to release them with Christmas.
