Ashwin blessed with a baby girl

Ravichandran Ashwin is now the proud father of a baby girl. His wife shared the news on her Instagram page by saying, “My kanmani [darling, in Taml] is home Blessed with a baby girl after a beautiful 39-week journey. Sigh. Miss my abs already.”

Ashwin married his childhood friend and schoolmate Prithi Narayanan in Chennai on November 13, 2011. Immediately after the wedding, the couple flew to Kolkata where Ashwin had to represent India in a Test match against the West Indies.

Prithi, an intelligent young woman, has been very active on social media. Criclife congratulates the young couple on their new addition to their family and wish them a joyous parenthood.
