Rookie left arm pacer Barinder Sran became the talk of the town a month back when he was picked for India’s One-Day International (ODI) squad. The call-up, though a surprise one for many, was backed by his Punjab seniors Yuvraj and Harbhajan Singh, who rated him quite highly.

On Tuesday, Sran made his ODI debut for India in the first of the five-match series and made an immediate impact.
