Bhuvneshwar Kumar has announced that he is set to tie the knot with Nupur Nagar on November 23. The ceremony is expected to take place in Meerut. The wedding will be followed by two receptions, on November 26 and 30. The second reception is scheduled to be in Delhi, where his India teammates will be present as well. Officials from both BCCI and Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association are also expected to attend the wedding.

After being released from the Test squad, Shikhar Dhawan was seen bullying Bhuvneshwar as the latter is on the verge of entering the ‘second innings’ of his life. Bhuvneshwar took it sportingly and cited Dhawan’s happy married life as an example to follow.

As for Bhuvneshwar’s wedding, his father Kiran Pal Singh had told The Times of India: “The wedding will take place in Meerut and it will be attended by family and close friends. But we want Bhuvneshwar’s teammates and members of the Board (BCCI) to also take part in celebrations, which is why we will have a reception in Delhi for them. We are sure everybody will attend it because the entire team will be in Delhi from November 30 for Sri Lanka series.”
