All is well! James Faulkner’s friendly gesture towards Virat Kohli

The banter between James Faulkner and Virat kohli in the ongoing India tour of Australia created drew enormous attention. But on this occasion, Faulkner won billions of hearts with his act towards his arch-rival Kohli.

In the ongoing second Twenty20 International (T20I) between Australia and India at Melbourne, Kohli was batting with buoyancy and was taking on the Australian bowlers from the start. On the fourth delivery of the 19th over which was bowled by Faulkner, Kohli drove one short of a length towards covers. He ran hard for the first one and in an attempt for a quick second he slipped at the non-strikers end and was on the ground.

 

Faulkner who was getting back to his bowling mark in no second gave a hand to Kohli and earned a lot of respect from the fraternity. Moments like these help keeping the true spirit of the gentlemen’s game alive. Kohli went on to score his 11th T20I fifty and India posted a massive 184 on the board. India will eye to win this game and seal the three-match series, their bowlers have a task in hand in front of the star studded Australian line-up.
