Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh celebrates his 36th birthday today. The right-arm wily bowler has been instrumental for the side and has scripted numerous records with his spin and guile. Harbhajan was instrumental when India dominated the world in 2007 and 2011. He scalped key wickets at crucial moments and provided India with much-needed breakthroughs on a consistent basis.

Harbhajan made his Test debut in 1998 against Australia in Bangalore and has 403 wickets in 103 outings to his name. To add to his good fortunes, he has 25 five-wicket hauls and 5 ten-wicket hauls in his kitty. It may not come as a surprise to many but Harbhajan also smashed couple of Test hundreds and nine half-centuries. Harbhajan has been handy with the bat lower-down the order and has contributed with some priceless runs on many occasions. He plays for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and has been one of the pillars of strength since its inception.
