Brad Hogg set to play for Kolkata Knight Riders

Former Australian spinner Brad Hogg, who turns 44 years-old next week is set to sign a contract with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season, which starts from April 9, 2015.

The Australian spoke with KKR head coach Trevor Bayliss who told him that the team is looking forward to working with him.

According to foxsports.com.au, Hogg said. “I was talking to Trevor Bayliss. They’re looking to get me over there. It looks like I’m going to the IPL as well. Hopefully, I get another season or two in the Big Bash League (BBL) here with the Perth Scorchers.”

‘There’s no reason at all. As a bowling group with the Perth Scorchers it’s been fantastic this year, I’ve been really enjoying it all so I don’t have any thoughts about retiring’, the chinaman bowler added when asked about retirement.

Earlier, Hogg has played for the inaugural IPL winners Rajasthan Royals (RR) and has taken 10 wickets from 10 matches at an average of 28.40.
