In his first season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), 17-year-old Sarfaraz Khan struck a close friendship with his Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team-mate Chris Gayle, who is little more than twice the age of the precocious Indian. Sarfaraz almost shadowed the West Indian, towering over him, wherever he went. The friendship was visible to one and all.

And as the time came for the two go their own ways with the exit of RCB, Gayle shared a picture of the two on Instagram with the words: "Will miss my #No1 star #Star @sarfarazkhan97aka Mr ######## The future is yours if u want it #Macho Is favorite line 'I'm only 17 #OneLove will miss all the laughter!!! :)

Sarfaraz Khan was the big find for RCB, playing some memorable knocks and raising hopes of a great future ahead of him. Quite clearly, it's not just Gayle who think that Sarfaraz is a huge talent for India. He is just 17. The possibilities boggle the mind.
