The potent Afghanistan have finally created an upset by defeating the strongest team in their group West Indies at Nagpur <span data-term="goog_473621973">on Sunday</span>. West Indies were favourites going into this match and very few may have thought that Afghanistan can pull off a stunner in this game.<p></p><p></p>Batting first Afghanistan scored 123 runs in their 20 overs on a pitch which was difficult to bat on. They somehow managed a modest score on the board after getting off to a rocky start. A target of 124 for a team like West Indies is a cake walk on any given day but on this occasion it wasn't to be.<p></p><p></p>Afghanistani bowlers did a commendable job with the ball in restricting West Indies to a score of 117 in 20 overs. Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan were the pick of the bowlers as the duo picked two wickets each. Nabi bowled a fantastic final over where West Indies needed 10 and the bowler managed to defend it.<p></p><p></p>It's a huge setback for a team like West Indies who have already qualified for the semi-finals.
