David Warner and wife Candice step up for critically ill kids of Australia

Australian batsman David Warner has had an excellent past few years. He scored bulk of runs across formats and tasted a World Cup triumph earlier this year and carried his golden form into the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he led the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and ended up as the Orange Cap holder for scoring maximum number of runs. Warner is now all geared up to bat for a social cause.

Cricketers and sports personalities have been very optimistic when it comes to charity. Warner is one of the most intimidating batsmen in world cricket but when it comes to charity and social cause he seems to be very kind and humble.

Warner with his recently wedded wife Candice has taken up an initiative of ' GoldTelethon' to support the betterment of young patients and ensure a better treatment of critically ill and injured kids at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick.

Gold telethon is a live Channel 9 broadcast, which will be displayed on June 8 in which cricketers and celebrities will share their stories with the people. It's a drive which will raise funds for the children of the hospital.

Candice posted a picture of the couple holding a banner, which says five days to go for the Gold Telethon on Instagram from her official account and wrote," @davidwarner31 & I are helping countdown to the Gold Telethon broadcast thisMonday the 8th of June on@channel9. Warner is in the Australian squad which is currently touring West Indies and will play their first Test match of the tour today. Hopefully, Warner fans and followers get inspired with his initiative and step up to make a substantial contribution towards the society.
