The 10th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is gaining momentum and the franchises are ensuring for their players that it is not “all work and no play”. So, when rain washed out a training session for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), the players had an indoor bonding session, where they indulged in various activities. SRH skipper and Australia vice-captain David Warner and New Zealand captain Kane Williamson took to dartboard with the latter hitting the bull s eye. Kane registered a big win over his IPL captain, who is otherwise his fierce competitor when the two play for their respective countries.

Williamson, currently ranked world s No. 2 ranked Test batsman, gave a good account of his darting skills when he beat Warner hands down. The entire contest was filmed by SRH and shared through their official Twitter handle. “He’s better than me at darts. I even share my darts with him,” Warner said on the video posted by the IPL franchise. After putting three consecutive darts into the triple 20 to complete the perfect trio of throws, Williamson took a victory lap around the dressing room, while Warner was more than happy for his IPL teammate. Watch the video here:

“There you have it Sunrisers fans, our first 180 … comes off probably 10,656 attempts, Warner said in the video. Two years of hard work has finally paid off. It’s like a hole in one for golf for us, he added.

Williamson, who last month levelled the late Martin Crowe s record of 16 Test centuries for New Zealand, jokingly described it as a big moment in his career. “Something I’ll never forget … oh, and last year’s IPL victory, the Kiwi skipper said. “This and that would be right up there.”

SRH will be in action on Wednesday night when they take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in an away fixture at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. SRH have never defeated MI at Wankhede, losing both the fixtures played till date on the ground. However, they have beaten them in as many contests, at Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.
