Be it celebrations on the field or posting for Dubsmash, the modern cricketers never miss a chance to flaunt their dancing skills. But dance reality shows are a different bet altogether. Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, who is known for his swing bowling and of course good looks, has joined dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded as the first wild card entry and is extremely nervous about remembering his dance moves.

By his own admission, the cricketer has only danced as a kid at family functions but he is seeing this as a challenge because the show is all about the journey of a non-dancer to a dancer. In a report from IANS, Irfan said, "My memory...to remember the dance steps is going to be my biggest challenge. I will compete with myself to get better with each performance."

Like cricket, dance too required stamina but otherwise it's a different ball game. The show hosted by Manish Paul, also has celebrities like Shamita Shetty, Scarlett Wilson, Subhreet Kaur, Raftaar, Ashish Chowdhry, Radhika Madan, Vivian Dsena, Faisal Khan, Kavita Kaushik, Mohit Malik and Sanaya Irani as contestants; and is judged Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, filmmaker Karan Johar, dancer Lauren Gottlieb and ace choreographer Ganesh Hegde.

Irfan, who is also a philanthropist, has confirmed that his earnings from the show will go to his cricket academy which is a self-funded project for underprivileged kids.
