Jharkhand State Housing Board issues notice to MS Dhoni for land allotment

Indian skipper MS Dhoni is known for making headlines with his exquisite batting and exceptional captaincy but this time the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper Dhoni created a stir for completely different reasons.

On Thursday, he received a notice from Jharkhand State Housing Board for being wrongly allotted land. He was allotted by the government in the Harmu Housing Colony and was later given another plot adjacent to the one in the colony.

According to a report from DNA, the housing board officials have kept this issue confidential the officials have refrained to speak to the media.

This isn’t the first time for the 34-year old cricketer to get involved in the matter, but it is the first time he has been issued a notice regarding this land related matter.

It is believed that the process of plot allotment itself was incorrect, which has led the Housing Board to cancel quite a few allotments. But nothing could stop new Housing Board Managing Director Dilip Jha from issuing the notice after receiving several complaints.
