Max Walker pays visit to World Cup Trophy tour

Footballer-turned-cricketer Max Walker, who played in the inaugural World Cup in 1975, poses in front of a bus, advertising the 2015 World Cup to be played in Australia and New Zealand starting in February. The bus stopped on the banks of River Derwent in Tasmania, Australia.

An author of 14 books with sales over one million copies, the former Australian cricketer has played 34 Test and 17 One-Day Internationals, taking 138 wickets and 20 wickets respectively.

The countdown for the ICC World Cup 2015 has already begun with only 19 days left. The trophy finally arrived to the Island state as part of the ‘Trophy Tour.’ The trophy travelled over four months starting July 4, 2014 from Colombo, Sri Lanka and will reach Sydney on 26th January 2015.
