One umpire with helmet, another gets injured, then comes substitute Paul Wilson and Twitter goes berserk

Over the years, there have been talks and debates over the safety gears for the umpires on the field. They are at equal risk and are prone to some serious injuries as there is hardly any time to react when the ball hits the willow.

During the ongoing fourth One-Day International (ODI) between Australia and India, umpire Richard Kettleborough was seen in pain after being struck on the right shin by a straight drive from Aaron Finch early on in the innings. Kettleborough was given some medical attention and was up on his feet after sometime. But it seems that he pain kept rising as the time passed by and eventually few overs later he finally took a call of leaving the field.

Kettleborough was replaced by Former Australian cricketer Paul Wilson as the former was finding it difficult to continue, also not going to officiate after been hit. His co-umpire John Ward was too seen wearing a helmet right from the outset at Canberra. Twitter world reacted to this instance through their tweets, check out some of them here:
