Ramnaresh Sarwan blasts out at West Indies Cricket Board

West Indian cricketer Ramnaresh Sarwan joined the likes of Chris Gayle and Dinanath Ramnarine to rebuke the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) for its failure to grow in the past 15 years and also for the decision of excluding experienced all-rounders Dwayne Smith and Kieron Pollard from the World Cup squad.

In a series of tweets, Sarwan hit out at WICB’s inability to develop West Indian cricket.

He used the platform to hold the WICB directors responsible for not taking care of the progress of the organization, the players involved and just being concerned of their profile.

Sarwan also criticised the removal of former West Indies coach John Dyson and dismissed chief selector Clive Lloyd’s opinion of Twenty20 format messing up the game.
