Ravindra Jadeja’s extremely touching words for the love of his life

There have been a few international cricketers of note who have had a fascination for horses. Sir Garry Sobers, Ricky Ponting, Mark Waugh are a few who are passionate about horse racing. But not many actually own horses as it’s quite a task maintain such a big animal.

Ravindra Jadeja, however, is one of the rare cricketers who owns not one but two horses. His passion for the equine is apparent from the posts he regularly makes on social media. On Wednesday, Jadeja took to Instagram not only showcase his two horses, Manek and Lalbeer, but also write a few words that unambiguously showed what those two animals meant to him. Jadeja wrote: “Make a saddle of my skin after my death. I would wish to be on horse back for some more years. Manek n Lalbeer”.

Ponting and Mark Waugh own shares in a racehorse, Forget, while Phillip Hughes was a registered racehorse owner in NSW.
