Sachin Tendulkar shares selfie with superstars Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna; welcomes them at Kerala Blasters

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is an avid sports enthusiast. Besides being a master at his own sport, he also has keen interest in football. Incidentally, Tendulkar also co-owns the Kochi franchise in the Indian Super League (ISL), which is named as the Kerala Blasters FC (KBFC), along with PVP ventures. Southern acting superstars and two of the biggest names in Indian film industry, Chiranjeevi, who is also a Rajya Sabha MP from Congress, and Nagarjuna, who has massive following in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, recently joined forces with Tendulkar and became the co-owners at KBFC. Along with the two of them, a consortium of investors including leading film producer – Allu Arvind and industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad have also bought a stake in Blasters Sports Pvt. The new co-owners of the franchise were recently unveiled at a ceremony in Thiruvanthapuram. During the ceremony, master blaster Tendulkar clicked a selfie with the superstars and other investors and took to his official Twitter account to share it with his millions of followers. The consortium of these stars is committed to expanding the football base in the state and give potential talent a platform to perform and excel. The third season of the league, which is becoming increasingly popular with the passage of time, will kick-start from October 26 this year.
