Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly to be part of TV show for World Cup 2015

Watching Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly play together brings back the fondest of memories for cricket fans. The duo, which has amassed huge partnerships and set several records over the years, is back but this time the microphones replacing the bats.

As reported by MiD-Day, it is learnt that Tendulkar and Ganguly will express their expert views in a studio for a television news channel before and during the World Cup.

Ganguly is already an established commentator and cricket expert, who is hailed for his straight forward views, while most wondered if Tendulkar would ever venture in media-related activities.

As reported, a promo for the show is scheduled to be shot on Thursday at the Wankhede stadium.

Tendulkar and Ganguly have opened in 136 One Day International (ODI) innings and scored 6609 runs at an average of 49.32. The duo have batted together 176 times in ODIs and have scored 8228 runs, putting up 26 century stands and even in Tests, they have put together 4173 runs at an impressive average of 61.36.
