Sana Mir dreams to build a formidable Pakistan’s Women’s team

Every cricketer dreams and wishes to take their respective team to newer heights and develop their team into a strongest one. On this occasion, Pakistani women’s cricket team skipper Sana Mir who has been instrumental behind her team’s success has opened up about her plans regarding her team.

Sana has led the team well in the recent times and marshalled her troops well. Sana spoke about her journey and vision for the team and was quoted by saying, “Cricket was in my blood, I always wanted to play cricket and represent Pakistan. My vision is to prepare a team in which I can’t find a place for myself. I don’t want the team to depend on me. Instead I want to prepare more and more players for the county.”

Sana eyes to take women’s cricket in Pakistan to new platform and pull in more and more players for the country. At present, their team is delicately placed in the ICC Women’s World T20 as they have won and lost one game out of two and will now loc horns with Bangladesh women’s team on Thursday.

Earlier, Sana has also spoken highly about Indian skipper MS Dhoni and said that he’s an inspiration. She also spoke highly about Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi and said he’s an interesting skipper. Sana will have a task in hand in taking over Bangladesh Women’s team as a loss here can put their run in the tournament in jeopardy.
